The Goal

The goal of your recommendation post is to learn how to create and submit posts on our class Learning Blog, as well as share a useful website with site visitors.

How it Works

Choose a lesser-known online resource that you find to be useful or informative (no Google, Facebook, Twitter, Bing, Instagram, or Netflix)
Write a draft text or script into a Google Doc within your Digital Citizenship folder in Google Drive. Choose an appropriate name for your Doc, like “Recommendation Post Draft.”
Use grammar and spell-check tools to ensure proper sentence structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.
Be sure explain what your recommendation is, why you chose it, and why it’s worth other people’s time to check it out, as well as provide a working text link (no “http://“) to it.
Create a featured graphic and headline that highlights your choice using Pablo
Download your graphic
Log into our class blog and create a new post
Enter your post title and copy-and-paste your Google Doc content into the content area
Upload your featured image
Choose tags (no “#”)
Choose the “Recommendations” category
Preview your post
Print, fill out and submit the Rubric above, making sure that all items meet standards
Submit your post for review
Revise your post based upon provided feedback if necessary
